weddings

I have photographed weddings all over the world. Wherever I am, and no matter how glamorous, quirky, or intimate the wedding is, I am always speechless at that moment when the life commitment is made. A wedding is so much more than a party. It is a sacred bond that is given weight as it is witnessed by others. Rather than turning your day into a photoshoot, my aim is to create photographs that recall your commitment and make it tangible in material form.
Photographing a wedding is an immense responsibility. It takes acute attention to detail and deep focus on all the emotions at play. The skill of balancing ever-changing light and knowing your aperture from your ISO should be a given. Make sure that the photographer you choose isn’t selling themselves on their technical ability. A photographer should be so experienced, and so immersed in the story of your day, that they don’t notice how or why they adjust their settings. It should be as effortless as their first language.
I would never want any of my clients to look back over their albums and say, Wow! That looked like a gorgeous wedding. Was that mine?
A pre-wedding shoot is included in my offering.
I like to do this at least a month before your wedding as a way to get to know each other and to understand more about you as a couple, and your wishes for the day.
I commit a great deal of time to each wedding I take on, both before and afterward.
I therefore only photograph six weddings a year. I spread these out over the year so that I can give you my all. If you want me to photograph for you, please book well ahead.
