I always tread lightly in the presence of newness.

Having a relaxed and positive atmosphere in your home pre- & post-birth is crucial.

During the first week of life, your baby will be processing their outer world. To arrive as a photographer and begin manipulating the environment is not what your baby needs. Instead, they need a soft landing. Likewise, as you gear up to birth your baby, you should be held and supported, not made to feel like someone modeling a belly.

Becoming a new parent or a sibling encompasses so many emotions and having authentic images to reflect on in later years can be cathartic and fulfilling.
